You’re not tired.
You’re factory-scheduled.
Wake up. Eat on cue. Stare at a screen.
Repeat.
Then wonder why you’re anxious, unfocused, exhausted.
Overweight. Under-muscled. Unfit. Unhealthy.
A shadow of what you could be.
We traded nature for convenience.
Structure for soul.
Now we live like parts in a machine.
Except we’re not cogs. We’re human.
And humans can drift for years without realising they’re asleep.
You’re not choosing this.
You’re responding to old code. Downloaded from your childhood, installed by school, parents, society.
It’s called conditioning.
And it runs the show.
Are you aware that you are conditioned?
And if you say “I must be free of it”,
you fall into another trap,
into another form of conditioning.
— Jiddu Krishnamurti
You don’t question it.
You don’t even see it.
You put up with it.
There’s a tendency in all of us to put up with shit. We get used to them. And we blame circumstances.
The Snap
Until something causes us to snap out of it.
You bent down to tie your shoe laces and realised you couldn’t.
You sat on the floor and needed help to get back up.
You tried on your favourite pair of clothes and they didn’t fit.
The lift was out of order and you were gassed out walking up the stairs to get to your office.
Holy f***. How did you get here? How did your physical ability get to zero?!?!
A slap in the face gets us to wake up. To act. To see the reality.
And when you see it, you start to understand:
You were never taught how to take care of your body.
You were taught to study hard. Sit still. Obey.
You were raised by people who didn’t know any better.
And surrounded by a society where being overweight, out of breath, and dependent on doctors is just… normal.
That’s not your fault.
But it is your problem now.
Why You Haven’t Changed
Because you don’t feel the threat.
You think you have time.
You see your parents’ health falling apart, and still tell yourself, “That won’t be me.”
You know your lifestyle needs fixing.
But you keep waiting. For motivation, a better schedule, a sign.
Let me be blunt.
You’re not unmotivated. You’re disconnected.
You’re not broken. You’re conditioned.
And unless there’s emotional content, nothing will change.
This isn’t about guilt. Or shame. Or anger.
It’s about truth.
And truth stings.
Until you see it clearly.
Until you feel it.
Nothing shifts.
Not your behaviour. Not your body. Not your life.
[…] but the simplicity that can look directly at things without fear — that can look at ourselves as we actually are without any distortion, to say when we lie we lie, not to cover it up or run away from it.
— Jiddu Krishnamurti
What’s Different Now?
Now you get it.
You’ve been living life on autopilot.
Eating like a teenager, moving like a retiree, and thinking it’s fine because “everyone else is doing it too.”
It’s not fine. It never was.
You don’t need more discipline.
You need to stop bullshitting yourself.
You’re not tired. You’re under-trained.
You’re not stuck. You’re conditioned.
You’re not broken. You’re just overdue for a reset.
This isn’t about six-packs or whatever the f*** influencers on Insta are telling you.
It’s about waking the hell up and taking your body, and your life, back.
The longer you wait, the heavier it gets.
So pick a spot.
Start moving.
And stop acting like your health is someone else’s problem.
No one’s coming to save you.
And honestly?
That’s the good news.
Yes. We are conditioned. Every single one of us. And misery is a choice!
You hit the nail on the head ..
